Oliver Angus Ranch has a diversified cattle operation

Marketing Our Registered Angus Cattle:

1. Registered Bulls: We are a Hinkle’s Prime Cut Angus cooperator. Our registered bulls will compete with HPCA bulls to have that chance to sell in HPCA’s fall bull sale and spring production sale. These sales are in October and March each year and offer some of the finest Angus genetics in the country.
2. Registered Bulls: We do sell registered bulls by private treaty. Contact Sach Oliver for private treaty.
3. Registered Heifers: While we retain replacement heifers as needed, we also sell registered replacement females. If we can be of assistance in value-added open weaned heifers, bred heifers or, occasionally, pairs.
4. Our registered program is an AI program. Come visit our registered cow/calf operation and see the prime genetics.

Commercial Angus Cattle:

1. Commercial Cow Calf Operation: We have a spring calving Angus cow herd. All of our commercial cattle are maintained in optimum body condition (BCS) and bred to Hinkle Prime Cut/Gardiner Genetics.
2. Commercial Heifers: We sell commercial replacement females. If we can be of assistance in value-added open weaned heifers, bred heifers or, occasionally, pairs.
3. Commercial Bulls: While we highly recommend each buyer purchase a registered bull from our program, we also offer a select few commercial bulls for sale each year.
4. Commercial Steers and Buy Back program: We appreciate our success in retaining ownership using HPCA/GAR genetics. Capturing the additional value from investing in high accuracy, progeny proven genetics is realized when we own our calves from the farm to the rail. These highly predictable genetics typically grade USDA Choice and Prime, a high percentage meet the quality specifications for Certified Angus Beef® and beat the plant average for yield by more than 1.5%.
